On Saturday, October 21st, Twin Cities musicians celebrated an album release at The Icehouse, a local concert venue located in South Minneapolis. Artists including Juice Lord, Nur-d, Ashley Gold, Vision the Kid, Farwell, and many others graced the stage for High Style Kyle’s album release party entitled “Time and Space”.

The energy in the room was synergetic, and everyone seemed like they were there living in the moment.

Trumpets, saxophones, and keys laid down the melodies as the drums kept a steady pace throughout the night. Vocalists came from all backgrounds and styles, including rap, soul, and even some country waves mixed in. Monique Smaz was the stand out performer of the night bringing powerful vocals. One can tell that she has performed quite a bit, and apparently has some songs out that are doing well on major charts.

All the performers brought their best energy and left it all out on the stage. The Icehouse also did a good job of hosting the event.
